The 2024 Trailblazer remains the vehicle of choice among owners who desire the benefits of an SUV in a subcompact package. Potential Santa Ana owners opting for one of the vehicles also gain fuel efficiency and upscale technological features that advance with each trim upgrade.
The entry-level Trailblazers available to consumers from Tustin and all around Orange County come standard with turbocharged 1.2-liter, three-cylinder engines that generate 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Each vehicle also has an automatic continuously variable transmission and FWD.
More power is had by choosing a model equipped with the turbocharged 1.3-liter, three-cylinder engine that puts out 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque. However, consumers may choose between the CVT and FWD or an automatic nine-speed transmission and AWD. Adding a tow package enables the 2024 Trailblazer to pull up to 1,000 pounds.
Our new Trailblazer models are manufactured with six different dual-tone and two solid-color finishes. Interiors are available in two color themes. The dramatic front end of the new SUV models features a large, hourglass-shaped grille dissected by a matte finish bar and the Chevy logo. A narrow line of daytime running lights borders either the upper edge of the grille or beneath the line accented hood. Headlights sit at mid-level on either side of the grille. Matte lower body cladding encompasses the vehicle on all sides. Sharp lines create a three-dimensional appearance on each side. Contrasting colored roofs end in spoilers at the rear. Trapezoidal-shaped light fixtures wrap around the rear, which boasts more 3D elements.
LT models add glossy, 17-inch wheels, unique front, and LED headlights. RS models have sportier elements, including black accents, a glossy black mesh grille, and dual chrome-tipped exhausts. ACTIV models gain upgraded suspensions and protective skid plates.
The five-passenger interiors come upholstered in fabric or synthetic leather, depending on the trim level. Stepping up to the LT level adds heated front seats while giving the driver a power-adjustable seat. RS versions add red accents throughout the interior. ACTIV models add a heated steering wheel.
Sharp angled elements continue throughout the cabin, which gives the Trailblazer a more modern appearance. Seating front and rear provide plenty of support and comfort secondary to the cushioned upholstery. Tech features fit neatly in the front door armrests, steering wheel, and dashboard, making access easier. The Trailblazer's rear compartment provides 25.3 cubic feet of storage space. Folding the rear seats flat increases the space to 54.4 cubic feet.
After entering the SUV, pushing the button starts the engine to drive in and around the Costa Mesa, CA region. Drivers get an eight-inch digital instrument display with pertinent vehicle infotainment and active safety alerts. The infotainment system has an expansive 11-inch touchscreen, enabling smartphone integration without wires. Each unit also has a six-speaker AM/FM stereo and satellite radio. A couple of USB ports ensure that mobile devices remain charged and ready to use.
Every 2024 Trailblazer has a series of standard safety features that help prevent collisions from the front and sides of the SUV. An HD rearview camera protects the back of the Trailblazer. The vehicles also have automatic high-beam headlights and cruise control.
