Nice car own and fun to drive
By wesi | on Monday, October 02, 2017
Consider this a 2017 spaceship that is tethered to the ground by 4 rubber tires. The console is sapceshipish and front seats are comfortable. All the bells and whistles to keep you connected to the electronic world. Back up camera is better than my other cars. Traded the Mercedes E430 for this and Im free of going to the gas station once a week.… - 5.0
GM's most innovative car and my favorite
By KiloVolt | on Monday, August 24, 2020
This car is such a gem it's just too bad GM didn't realize what they had before they dumped money into the Bolt verses a Cross-Volt. The Volt really is a great car, there is no range anxiety however most will rarely have to fill up. In fact, pretty much the only time my engine runs is for 'maintenance' when I haven't run it in a while or when the outdoor temperature is below 15F because I live in Northern NY. I trade cars pretty regularly and even traded in a 2018 LT Volt for a 2018 Premium Volt but I have mixed feelings about trading in my current Volt since there aren't anymore made after 2019. Toyota has made the car the CUV that GM should have made in their new RAV4 Prime and likely I will buy one of those next. Once I'm out of NNY and move South in a more electric car friendly environment, I'll be buying a Tesla. If you have a chance to get a good Volt, buy it because you won't regret it.… - 5.0
My new favorite vehicle no doubt
By murphcat | on Sunday, March 04, 2018
The Volt has completely blown away my expectations it is such a sleeper. I was expecting a nice ride from the reviews but the level of comfort, performance and out right fun driving experience I wasnt expecting at all. For a small car, this car has a big car feel in that it smooths out potholes like a Cadillac but still has pretty decent handling, no its not a Corvette but the low center of gravity from the battery placement makes it feel planted to the road. It is so quiet too that its just nice to drive around listening to music and since it doesnt cost much to drive there is no guilt for wasted gas. I purchased the LT with heated seats added and a little extra for red paint but with all the rebates it was a steal. The cloth seats are comfortable but the leather does feel better with softer pressure points on the seat edge to the back of the legs. Also, the blind spot monitoring is a great feature I wish I had on mine after doing some city driving since there are pretty big blind spots on the passenger and driver side rear corner. This is such a great car! I absolutely love it.…
